Anonymity vs. Fame, Shy vs. Gregarious, Reserved vs. Forward. If measured on a scale of one to ten, I would have started life as a one, but the older I become, the closer to ten I get!
Why? Insecurities, caring what others think, maturity, fear....things we all experience from time to time. I have, if you will, "grown into myself", have become the person I wanted to be (although not what I expected.)
If I could combine the youthful idealism from 20 years ago with the interpersonal ambivalence that I have now in regard to what others think, I would be one successful guy.
Is it too late to renew those dreams? Finding out is what this blog is all about. Cathartic to me, hopefully helpful or interesting to you. If you want, come down the road with me for a mile or so.
